In the evening at 8pm, a car stopped in front of the house. A man got down.

Chandini asked, “Sir, what do you want?”

“I heard that you are selling the house?”

“The house is already sold. We have even taken advance.”

“Oh! For how much?”

“For 2 and a half lakhs.”

The man looked at the house. “You are very innocent. I would have given 6lakhs for the house.”

Chandini was surprised.

The man said, “Yes. I am saying the truth. I will give you 6 lakhs. I want this house.”

“Forgive me sir. We have already given our word and taken advance. It is our fate I think.”

The man requested, “Please reconsider the matter, madam.”

“Forgive me. We cannot take back our word.”

“Tell me, who has taken the house.”

“Mr. Shankar, a house broker who stays in the next road.”

“Ok, madam.” He left.

Just as he left, Arvind came on his bike. He entered the house to see Chandini sitting on the sofa.

Chandini said, “You keep mentioning god for everything. See, that man was ready to give 6 lakhs. But what to do. The matter is out of our hands. So I said no. If he had come before this other man, our sister's marriage would have taken place in a very grand way.”

Arvind said, “Chandini, that god is not an ordinary god. Just watch how he will save you.”
