CHAPTER 44

Arvind takes Chandini to ashram

Chandini and Arvind went to the ashram. Swami was happy to see them.

“Come Arvind.”

They sat down on a stone.

Swami asked happily, “How are you, my boy? It is a long time since you came here.”

Arvind smiled. “Yes Swamiji. It is a long time since we met. Prutvi's father is dead.”

Swami said sadly, “Yes. I know. His mother came here 4 days ago. I feel very sad about it. What a great man. A great donor. Because of him, this ashram is fully green and shining brightly.”

Arvind said, “Do you know when Prutvi is coming back?”

Swami shook his head. “No. I asked his mother about Prutvi. But she did not say anything. She just gave money for the ashram. But you don't worry. Where will he go? He will certainly come back once the karmas are over. After all he has gone to the foreign country. It will take time to come back.”

Chandini listened curiously.

Arvind asked hopefully, “Do you have his address or phone number?”

Swami shook his head sadly, “No. they never gave me their address till now. I just know that they live in Paris. Once in 6 months they used to come to India to our ashram to meet Prutvi.”

Chandini had tears in her eyes. She wiped her eyes.

Swami noticed this. “Who is this girl?”

Arvind said, “Chandini. She stays in front of our compound. She likes Prutvi very much.”

Swami looked at her. “Don't worry. He will come soon.”

“Ok. Swamiji, we are leaving.” Said Arvind and he got up.

Swami aid, “Keep visiting us once in a while.”

“This is my birthplace. I will certainly keep coming.”

They left and climbed on the motorbike.
