11. Tiffin problem solved

CHAPTER 11
Tiffin problem solved

Next day morning, at 7am, Danalakshmi went straight to Prutvi’s house. Prutvi has just finished his bath and was putting his dress. He welcomed her. “Please come in Aunty. Please sit down. How is your leg?”

Danalakshmi was very happy. She laughed. “My boy, your touch has made the pain disappear completely. Today, morning you must come to my house for breakfast. I have prepared dosa.”

Arvind was very happy. “Dosa? We like it very much. It is such a long time since we had some.”

Danalakshmi was pleased. “At the ashram, they can’t make dosa for so many people. You just tell me what all you like. I will prepare everything for you.”

Prutvi whispered in Arvind’s ear. “From today, tiffin problem is solved.”

Danalakshmi looked at their faces. “What are you saying?”

Kotari, who was standing nearby had heard what Prutvi had said to Arvind. He was very angry. “Showing the oil, you have solved your tiffin problem, now only the meals and the dinner problems remain.”

Prutvi looked at him. “Uncle, what is your problem? Tell us.”

Kotari rubbed his head. “I am sure that you will use your oil on everyone and solve all your problems.”

Danalakshmi said to the boys kindly, “Give me a list of the dishes you like. I have to tell my husband to get all the items to prepare them.”

Prutvi sat on the bed and said coolly. “Aunty, you are calling us so lovingly to your house to eat dosa, but Kotari uncle does not like it. We don’t want dosa or anything else. You give everything to uncle.”

Danalakshmi got very angry. She stared at her husband seriously. “This house is mine. This compound is mine. The dosas are mine. Prutvi, Arvind, will be eating my dosas. For this man, today, dosa cut. I have prepared everything for you only. You should not say no.”

Everyone in the compound was looking at them.

Brahma went near Kotari. “Brother, today no tiffin for you.”

Kotari said seriously, “Tomorrow, he will make you lose your meal. For us, he is a big terrorist.”
